Plenty obvious. Guess they didn't look at THAT camera angle.
I had no money on this race, but if I did, I'd be very annoyed.
Once a horse has that kind of thing going on in his face, it disturbs all the training, all the effort, all the run....it's what makes a horse back off.
Stewards should take their time to look at all of the angles. There are cameras everywhere.
Once the "inquiry" is shown, there isn't a time limit.
Very careless review, imho.

They've been robbed!

just saw pics on equidaily--the horse was hit by the whip. but like they said, the angle that equidaily showed was unavailable for the stewards. shame they can't get a shot that would help them make the right call, instead of a guess.
