EXOTIC DANCER sparkled in a crucial gallop this morning and remains on target for the Totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained eight-year-old, ridden by Tony McCoy, worked up the grass gallops at Jackdaws Castle with stablemates Don't Push It and Mountain. The work was watched by owner Sir Robert Ogden's racing manager Barry Simpson, who said: "The horse has gone up the gallops and seems to be enjoying himself. He will keep to his normal routine and, if we get a good run through and there are no reactions, he will take his place in the Gold Cup line-up."

It's nearly time for the festival, and I have no idea what is supposed to be running in many of the races, sad, isn't it. I feel like I've been shut off from the outside world.
No major fancies for me this year, and this will probably be the first festival in a long time where I won't have a bet!!
