He got a race(if you can call it that) over a track that he will be running on for alot of money, but it looks like the connections got an easy paycheck.

I don't think it's boring when our best horse goes to the racetrack......regardless of where he's racing or who he's racing against. It would have been nice, at least for me, if I could have seen it.

I watched it and enjoyed it. Whether I am a fan of the horse or not, I always enjoy when the best horses in the game race, especially one who may in fact be very special.
Who knows whether or not the horse got anything out of it, but I would think the connections got out of it, or close to it, what they were lookin for. Whatever it was, it was certainly better than being in the barn. A race over the track, getting acclimated, going under the lights, and so on. Certainly didn't hurt. Eric |

3rd 6 JET EXPRESS (SAF) $81.40
Quote:
as noted there was some confusion. FT was listed as 9.40 which was his win price, and JEt Express whos win price was actually "89.80" which further confuses the matter. Maybe Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid gave out a bonus , but more likely they just messed up the posted results. Amazingly i didn't have a place bet on Jet Express so i couldn't tell you, but i would have guessed between 5 nd 15 dollars for JE. I took 20% on Curlin and had no complaints. |

There was not a dead heat for second. There was a brain dead person on the other end of your phone however.

So, I'm looking at Youbet and it shows the place (2nd/3rd finishers) payouts for Familiar Territory at $9.40 and Jet Express at $81.40.
That's a pretty nice couple of pays, especially for Familiar Territory who went off at 7/2. |
