Obviously the Mineshafts don't move well and are possibly sore.
Also, actually, a lot of horses at the sales are sore. You can see how sore some are plain as day in their previews by the way they are moving or the way they act during their previews. Or you can go look at them the day after their previews to see which ones are lame or swollen.
