I own one. My horse Chucker. Why should I steer clear of him?

I'm assuming he meant hunters as in the kind who hunt and kill.

Right, but the assumption that I was talking about owning hunters (people) didn't make any sense so I played dumb. In other words, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he knew that I was talking about hunter horses, not people. Although, you are most likely correct in your assumption that he was talking about people in his response to my post, and has no clue about hunters (horses).

I'm fairly certain that he knew what you were referring to.

Well, it still didn't make much sense to say that. I mean, I don't care if he disses me for liking a horse, or says I'm too stupid to become a doctor. At least I can understand the reasoning behind those remarks from someone who isn't a doctor or doesn't know me in real life. I don't see the logical connections behind the steer clear of hunters statements, except for maybe that he wants me to be shot or that I will be shot, and that would just be cruel. Wouldn't really put it past a few on here though.

Try not to take all of this stuff so seriously... I highly doubt anyone on here wants you (or anyone else) to be shot. 3/4 of the people on here probably wouldn't know what to do with a shotgun anyway.

(GPK excluded. )

I really don't take the stuff seriously. I'm often smiling or LMAO when I post on the board. Some of this stuff is funny. If I did take it too seriously, I would have ran off like PG1985 and would not be posting here because of the hateful remarks. I am not a professional in the horse racing industry, so it doesn't matter what people think about me. I will only be an owner one day. So, I don't care what others say or think about me in that respect because it can't hurt my business. However, I think that professionals in the horse racing industry should conduct themselves in an appropriate manner on a horse racing message board especially when everyone knows the person's name. I actually think it is funny when they don't. Their conduct can't hurt me. However, the lack of professionalism and diplomacy can hurt them. I'm sure some still don't care.

And it's easy for you to say that because you aren't the one who recieves idiotic, outdated, snide remarks every time you post. Ignoring it and playing dumb is the best way to deal with it, so that is what I do unless someone says something really out of line. Then, I play with them, and that is viewed by people who don't know me as taking everything too seriously because hardly anyone knows me from this board in real life. In reality, it's really just me having a bit of fun and doing to others what they do to me alot of times.

It's easy for a group of people to gang up on one person. I am that guinea pig, and I don't care that I am. I choose to stay here and be that guinea pig. If I really cared, then I would leave.
