The guy that directed it (Julian Schnabel) won the Golden Globe and is nominated for an Oscar. They'll probably give it to some clown that directed a movie that got more hype, but he deserves it.

Great movie.....however I think many would refer to Schnabel as you referenced the others. Though, I am guessing it would be harsher than clown.
