All the scratches especially the 5 hurt Street Boss. I don't think he wants to be that close to the pace but with that short field there wasn't much choice.

I just don't know how anybody can expect the horse to hold the lead for that long. The horse is trained to get to the front late, and is always pulled up quickly after that. His job is usually done then.He did what is normally his job.Why would the horse not think his job is done by midstretch? Common sense would tell ya the horse thinks his job is complete.

I watched the replay again and agree that he moved way too soon. Never fear, Solis is still on the top of my list of bad So Cal riders.

What's amazing is that Solis has butchered this horse just about every time he's ridden him. Guess the connections are satisfied with the rides, however. Says alot of those in the game.

Oh,Headley will be in the grave(I think) before Solis stops getting his horses. This is the stubborn GEEDUBBYA type. How many people think Solis would have won if these 2 switched horses?

I have passed on races that I liked because Solis had a mount that showed some run. You can't bet him will a large wager. He has been riding scared for the last 3 years.

You know ,it's a slow pace,k? Fine, but look at Bejarano's horse on the backstretch. That horse is not gunna get to go up and do what Street Boss did.Beja has total control of this horse(even though he too would like to run faster.)So,the pace is a poor excuse.I guarantee you Beja would have had a hunter hunting(no matter what.) When you take a hunter to the front, you are taking their target away.Look at the way he wins all these races. He is usually outside coming late. This way his horse can always see what they have to beat.Solis got scared of being trapped, and so he went to the front too early, and took the target away from a hunter. At this point,Solis needs the best horse to win,and it would be best if it's a field that he can get a set-up in. The horse should be so much the best that he can go very wide in the stretch(Like the last race on Monday.)
