I think I remember Mr. Pletcher did the same with Jammie Spencer a few years ago. This young man must have galloped this horse in the A.M., now gets his chance. Good Luck!!! Finish Strong!!!!!!![]() |

The race was yesterday. At least he didn't fall off. He also had a good view of how every other jockey finishes a race.

Give him a couple of years and he will be one of the best. The one problem he will have is his weight. Not that he will be too big, but too small. He doesn't weigh much at all.
Probably the best apprentice over here last season. A nice lad, too. Prepared to work (and play) very hard!

I thought it was prtty cool that, within a 24 hour period, Buick won the Million and the G1 Prix Morney at Deauville.

Buick actually rode a 44-1 winner in the EP Taylor last year, a horse that I think that was transferred to the barn of Gerald Butler, the trainer of Bev D participant Pachattack. His ROI in NA is very healthy with yesterday's win combined with last year's bomb.

I want you all to go to a mirror right now.
Stick all the fingers of either hand into your mouth and close your mouth...make your eyes big. That's William Buick, born in 1953. |
