we're fine here. the office where i work is across the street from my kids school--when the tornado sirens went off, we couldn't even hear them. my husband called( we have a weather radio) and said a tornado was heading straight for town...i found out that they had the kids in the hallway at the high school, so i headed over there to sit with my two. we sat and cracked jokes...

it got pretty intense there for a bit, a lot of rain, winds, and hail. the junior high lost part of the roof, but no damage to the high school.

from what i saw in the paper, our town was the only in the south to have any damage, but nothing really noteworthy. they weren't so lucky up north.

Was talking about you since you're in Arky. Glad you're safe. I always bitch and moan about hurricane season when it is here, but at least there is some sort of warning with a hurricane. Not really the case with a tornado.
