Sky Copper may prove a trap but I would rather take one I saw run than guess continually with firsters. Firsters are not good bets in these races.

You and I have a huge difference of opinion regarding horses making inside moves. You subscribe to the shortest route to the wire theory and I believe that most horses don't want to make their ultimate moves inside, or between, other horses and are much better racing unencumbered. Plus, horses with little racing experience are far more likely to be intimidated inside.

No we don't. We both, essentially, look for the horse that got the clear run. In this particular case, it wasn't about getting through a tight hole, DW, was in much tighter, on the rail, all the way around the track until that point. There was a huge opening on the inside in the lane and Leparoux just chose to go outside before entering. As it was, he found trouble outside, while staying inside would've given him a clear run.

What makes all this a nuisance is that while we both know that DW is not much horse, I have a more difficult time coming to that conclusion than you ---correctly or otherwise.

Right, I agree with the last part. Even if you are right about her last race, it's impossible to excuse the rest of her form.

I watched all that I could and its tough.
The discussion is good

any real commitment with these.
