Wow....I thought Gayego was a standout in the post parade. But maybe I am biased because I own a Gilded Time gelding. Very happy to see this horse running so well (so far). He's a big, strong, nice looking fella.

Pretty good job by DTers in Contest Week #3. The rate of loss was 11.7%, well under the track take. Our overall rate of loss is now 14.2%.
This week there were 54 cappers who posted picks, so the amount bet was $648. The winning tickets added to $572. Here are the overall results through the first 7 races of the contest: # of picks: 426 Amount bet: $2556 Amount won: $2192.50 % return: (2192.50-2556)/2556 = -14.2% 21 cappers are still showing an overall profit. (down from 26 last week). --Dunbar

![]() They do some silly stuff sometimes during the simulcast season. Just about anything to get people in there. Some of it is not too bad like when they put names in a barrel and then draw out a name and give that person a hundred dollars to wager on a race. Amazing how many times people put the hundred on a horse to show and it runs up the track. |
