Yeah it was good seeing Roy in the ring again. IMO he's the greatest pound for pound boxer of all time.

Sir..have you poured through books about boxing history?

Have you observed film of everyone from Jack Johnson through present day?Have you read/heard what keen observers have said ...those who saw fighters from the 40's through the 70's...live? Those who cover it for a living and have done the same fine work I have?

The name Ray Robinson keeps coming up from all of them.

He was the very best out of an era in which the demands of can't be even closely matched by more modern day boxing since the 60's.

Glad to see someone appreciates
defensive prowess in boxers. He
was impossible to hit. A joy to
watch someone with such quick
reactions and so smart.

He is underappreciated because
he was not a knockout artist.

He is way up near the top.

I say Ali because I dont think
we will ever see a heavyweight as
fast as Robinson and could take
as much punishment as Ali did.

Absolutley beautiful boxer.
I hated his mouth but loved
his style. Best footwork, quickest
jab... the total package.

Jones likes to showboat.
He played around with him
and they both go home with
money and Tito did not get
killed.
