As much as I hate New England, I think they'll destroy San Diego. You don't go from 70 degree weather into 0 wind chill and not have it effect you. And if anyone wants to compare Jax going into Pitt, forget it. Jacksonville gets chillier than SD and it was about 30 degrees when they played at Pitt.

I do think the weather could be a problem for The Chargers, but it isn't as if they aren't expecting it. These professionals should be too focused to let the cold bother tham too much.

I wouldn't be concerned who started as Quarter back. Rivers has found some form in recent weeks and before he went off against The Colts he was looking pretty good.

I knew little about Volek before that game, but he impressed me in the final quarter, when most people thought The Chargers would fold without Rivers. I keep hearing about his success at The Titans with nothing like the offence he has to work with at San Diego. The only concern would be lack of game practice. A full game might be just out of reach.

I don't agree with those who think The Pats will run away with this one. Sure, they will almost certainly win, but I cannot see a winning margin any higher than 14.

The Pats defence will be tested to the limit with the Chargers recievers being massive to say the least. Jackon is huge and can collect almost anything at the moment.

Pats have come close to defeat a few times so I have heard this season and many have said it was the opposition making silly mistakes rather than the Pats being too good that have kept them undefeated this year.

Would love to see The Chargers win, but I think The Pats will just edge it.

I think the wind would have a bigger effect than the cold... unless your on the bench away from the warmers - can't see it making any difference.

I see you are from San Diego. If you think the cold will make no difference, you are crazy. Teams from California, Florida, Arizona, Texas and Louisiana have very poor ATS records when venturing into sub 32 degree weather. It takes several days to get adjusted. There's many people who've lived their whole lives in the north and still have trouble adjusting to winter.

ne 38 sd 14 shouldn't be the controlling factor here. this isn't week 2.

san diego might like the cold. and maybe they're healthier.

personally, i love san diego.

i just don't want to be there for the tidal wave.

A significant number of SD players have been on cold weather teams.
I dont think weather should be a problem. I think NE is the problem.

And LT not full speed...
Rivers????
Gates.....

SD does have two very good CB's. If they can possibly match up and allow some creativity on defense... Nah... NE. Rootin for San Diego.

Raised in the snow/cold winter crap of upstate NY...got smart and left 25+ years ago...if necessary I could suit up in the cold no problem...I just choose not to..I like 70F and sunny better.

Keating kicks a field goal with no time left and Chargers win.....Brady has a bad day as Jessica Simpson decides to dump Romo and keeps waving at Tom during the game. He throws 12 interseptions and fumbles 5 times.....but gets Laid after the game...which is nice!

Go Chargers

I humbly ask your
permission to use the QB
moniker. I need to irritate
some Dallas fans as badly
as I do people on this board.
