In the Whitney he was certainly loose on the lead down the backstretch, but Saint Liam did push him a bit early and Commentator ran the opening half in :46 2/5. That doesn't strike me as ideal for a 9f race.
He certainly had a good trip that day, but so did the the HOY that couldn't get by him in the stretch.

Look at the Woodward.
Tried to rate em,
St. Liam passed him
without asking. Other horses
ahead early and he is toast.

He is a very good
1-dimensional horse.

I'd love to see what he could do if he could stay healthy this year, because there isn't much talent in the older horse division right now.

When you quote his nonsense it completely defeats the purpose of my having him on ignore.

HOunding. Are you kidding. That was the worst job of hounding I have ever seen.
One rabbit was totally useless. The lesson learned was you cant even get close
to rating the horse. Stevens had hm will in hand and...Horse could not take it.
Damn fast 1-dimensional horse.
The horse is damn good at what he does.

Speaking of Ghostzapper, somehow he had no information on pedigreequery.com?? Pretty odd for the best horse of the last 25 years. [I updated it.]

From the Miami herald:

"'Only in America can you do things like this: Take a 7-year-old and have him come back running like a 2-year-old,'' Zito said. ``If we can keep him like this, he can beat any horse in the world.''

Well Dutrows use of the rabbit
accomplished the goal of getting
Sir Shaq to place.

One rabbit was non functional
St. Liam was at a walk behind them, how far off from the
Commentator? Relay race with one horse never getting the baton.
The goal the Rabbit accomplished was trying to get
Stevens to rate the horse.

Look the result is the same.
He has to tear off and get a lead
or he is beaten. This is exactly
the same for the past 3 years at least.
What problem do youhave with this?

But he is a very good one turn 8f 7 year old.

Yes there were 2 but one was so bad
he did what?

No I did not watch the race.
I can just see it in my head.
yes I watched the race

The Rabbit that was functional got Sir Shackelton
2nd. (unintended obviously but that is what Dutrows well worn
stunt accomplsished) Have you
watched the replay? Did you see which horse came in 2nd?
St. Liam was walking behind a hard held Commentator and
then when Commentator busted loose from Stevens, St. Liam just
sauntered on up. St. Liam did not even need one functional
rabbit.

The rabbit got Stevens to try to rate the horse.
Did you watch the race?

All the while Saint Liam is sitting 4th, a few lengths back running easliy. Again, it probably wouldn't have mattered, but it happened.
The outside horse did next to nothing.

So Commentator is a very fast 1 turn 8f horse
who must have the lead or he folds.
What do we disagree about?

I think that is a big improvement.
Much more artistic.
