Georgia would've beat LSU by two scores.

Too bad we didn't get to find out. I think they need to revise the tiebreaker rule for the conference championship games. In case of a tie go with the higher rated in the BCS rather than head to head unless the one team beat the other on the road. It seems stupid that the inferior team gets in because they happened to be lucky enough to draw the team they tied with at home that year. Georgia-LSU would have likely been the game of the year.

It seems stupid that they have Conference Championships at all. Or that only some conferences have them. A playoff would eliminate these obvious money grabs and would benefit the NCAA as a whole instead of just a few big conferences. I want someone to tell me again why they think that that this system works when the next 2 BCS games in primetime are close to unwatchable because there is nothing at stake, especially after the first 2 BCS games were wipeouts. You will also have a hard time convincing most that USC or Georgia aren't at least as good or better than the 2 teams playing in the 'National Championship' game.
