The best "racehorses" would never beat the best sprinters. They are just built differently. I doubt Secretariat could ever run a 108 6F.

This is true. Secretariat and Dr. Fager probably could compete with these horses. They just wouldn't be a given to beat them. Secretariat and Dr. Fager were both capable of 108 6F times. That is why they are arguably the two best horses to ever run.

Well he went in 1:09 and change in the first half of a mile and a half race so going a second faster is not out of the realm of possibility.

1:09 in the first half of a 12f race is just unreal. Unreal. He'd wax these chumps!

Dr. Fager actually ran sub 108 and Secretariat 108 and change. So I stand corrected. They just wouldn't be a given to beat the sprinters.
