mcafadden didn't even rush for the most yards this year by a running back. and his team losing four times didn't help him.
cracked me up to hear arky fans say that they should just ignore the auburn game, his worst playing ever. you can't toss out bad results, and only focus on the good days. it's the best of the season, not the best on his best days.

I think that a great case can be made for Tebow. I would rather see him win it to brake all those stupid "rules" about sophmores cant win. No one stood out the entire year. Mc Fadden, like Danzig said will have a huge NFL contract waiting for him. As much as Cajon is gonna hate me I will say Tebow isnt exactly an NFL type QB.

Whaddumean, "Tebow isnt exactly an NFL type QB", he is "white Donovan McNabb."

I won't argue that at this point. To be completely honest, I think it has been ignored by a lot of people that the purpose of the Heisman is to honor the best COLLEGE football player, not the best NFL prospect. Whatever happened to the days when people were just happy to see great football being played at the college level without worrying about whether or not those awesome players were going to make it in the NFL? I hope that Tebow sticks by what he's said and stays around the next couple of seasons at Florida. It sure has been a joy for me to go to the Swamp and watch him play in person, I can tell you that.

I could see Tebow being a tight end in the NFL. He would be perfect for that spot. I would have no problem with Daniels, McFadden or Colt winning the Heisman. This has been a fun year in college football. The bowl games look real boring, but all in all a very good year.

I think that happens alot in our society today. Floyd Mayweather cant just be a great boxer, it has to be, "Is he the greatest of all time?" Same with college football and to a lessor degree college basketball players. There are always comparisons and is he the next......??? instead of an appreciation of what is being accomplished. I happen to be a Pro/college football fan, baseball fan, pro/college basketball fan, and boxing fan. There are so many people that will tell me "I dont watch the NBA because... or baseball is too boring because...." While I can understand personal preferences if you can just enjoy something for what it is it instead of what it isn't, then things are much more enoyable. (sermon for the day)
