Not worth splitting hairs on good vs mediocre...guess the mediocre caught me off guard because I honestly don't see them that way. With the teams Minn, Chicago and Detroit have all beat, I think the division is a lot more respectable than the AFC East less NE and the AFC WEst and NFC WEst top to bottom.
Yea, I guess I was wrong in splitting hairs with the NFC. The whole thing stinks, save certain games. Each AFC East team does have to play the Pats twice a year. The Jets aren't as bad as their record indicates. The fins, who don't deserve capitalization, lose alot of close ones. The Bills have given teh Cowboy's their biggest scare for that second loss. Closer than either of our teams will get.

I, as always, have worded it wrong. They are a good team, just not a great team that deserves the buzz week in week out.
The fan in me wants you to win by a ton. The realist in me says The TO and RoMO show keeps clicking.

I hope everyone keeps picking the Cowboys, because that only means the packers will destroy them. Romo has been great at times, but he has also been terrible at times. As long as Woodson can play and they limit Witten I believe the packers will win this one. I for one can't wait to see TO bitching at Romo on the sidelines, because Al Harris is all over him and Romo can't get him the ball. Should be fun...

Sorry, getting a little jacked already. Everybody is picking the cowboys. All the local guys even. No respect for the green and gold, hopefully they earn that tonight on the field!

I'm not watching nor have much desire to watch it. I see plenty of football games on cable. Missing a few Thursday night NFL games won't kill me. the internet will track it and there will be plenty of highlights all over television after the game.

I know..can't wait.

Funny..I've read some good articles that besides the home crowd, the way the Packer offense is built, they might be better off playing in Dallas in Jan. Besides Favre, that team really has no cold weather experience and won't get a ton in Dec. and it sure is a lot easier to throw there than GB in Jan.

OK..maybe I'm just getting ready for tomorrow if they lose tonight

I'm thinking 11 combined interceptions by Favre and Romo tonight.

I agree with you. It will be hard to throw the ball when it is 20 below zero and the wind is whipping at Lambeau in late Jan; however we have tickets for the NFC championship if it is at Lambeau. So I am still pulling for that!

There is the video for you Packer fans. This catch and many other great tds as a Niner is why TO is still my favorite player even if he is in a Cowboys uniform.

TO is gonna manhandle that long haired b*tch Al Harris. When Owens was part of my beloved 49ers he broke Green Bays heart, how sweet it was to be a little kid who loved the 49ers watching that game, I'm sure you Packer fans remember that. TO is gonna break the hearts of all you Packer fans once again.

If you truly remember that game ( were you born yet?) , you'll know that he should never had even had a chance to catch that ball because of the fumble that wasn't called prior, but anyway...does TO have any rings?

and aren't you cheering for GB because of your HS chum Ruvell?

I do remember that game, I was either 11 or 12 years old. I have actually been a Niners fan since I was like 7, and I never missed a 49ers game that I got on tv in Michigan, and def. never missed a Niners playoff game. I remember the Packers beating my Niners and making me cry a few times when I was younger, and I remember being about to cry that game, until Yound and Owens connected on that. Still probably the greatest memory I have from watching a Niners game.

I hope Ruvell scores a few times tonight, but Owens is still the man.

one more thing, you are right, if they had instant replay at the time that never would have happened, but they didn't, and the Catch II did happen so all is well.

Losing this game is no big deal for the packers. They will win their division and they will have a first round bye. Playing at Dallas is not a disadvantage for this packer team in Jan; with that said I still am hoping for a win! Wanna bet TO has less than 100 yrds tonight?

Not meaning to burst your bubble, but, HOw in he world does everyone picking the Cowboys have to do with the Packers destroying them???

SO this means that 1-5 or 2-5 shots in horse racing are going to lose because everyone picks them??

The Boys are the favorites for a reason, they are the most logical winners.

All i can say, now that I have the first round bye in my fasntasy football wrapped up, is let's go Donald Lee. Show me your worthy of starting over Gates next week.

The 2 weeks before that he had 3 touchdowns combined, while Gates was flipping mattresses after $h!tting them.
It all lies in the matchups.

Not to toot my own horn, toot toot, but the rest of my team is stacked enough that I can start my backups and beat 7/10ths of the teams in my league. Not even kidding.
