Zolio Versailles should be in according to that logic. Dale Murphy has 2 MVP's and he isn't in nor should he be. And Garvey did stay around past his prime and did pad the stats just to get him where they are.

And I dont have a HOF vote but those that do never supported Garvey even a little bit.

Shows how off you are.Garvey has a 130.5 rating.How dare you mention Garvey and Buckner together.That is low.Staub is even ranked lower than Buckner 59.0 (Likely HOFer > 100.)These guys played very average for a long time,and you even mention them as better than Garvey at anything? Just because they played longer? You're a whack when it comes to HOF. You act as though Garvey had his career cut short. He played in 2300 games! He should have amassed better numbers than he did. He was a very good 1st baseman for 5 years, ok for 7, and below average for 4. He did nothing so outstanding that seperated him from other good but not great players. The amusing part of your argument is that he is everything that you accuse me of being biased toward. A guy who played a lot, hung on for a long time, had a decent peak but was pretty middle of the road for the rest of his career.
