You say you " had to play against the favorite. " Why exactly is that? I didn't bet, but to me that horse was a complete cinch on paper, and considering the horse that beat it came back to win the Preview at Hollywood later in the day, the final result becomes even more confusing.

Frankly, only a horse that ran a completely different race than was shown on paper could have beaten the favorite, and that is apparently what happened.
