I like your taste in music also.

You might of loved the concert I went to a few weeks ago: Blue Oyster Cult, Loverboy, and Kansas just to name a few of the groups that I got to see.

Damn...BOC still together? I saw them at New Mac's on M Street (I think) in Georgetown way back in the early 70's...long before they hit the "big time". Always liked them...although Metallica has covered some of their songs and frankly, I think have done a better job. Loverboy is cool, Kansas a great group too...again, didn't realize they were still together. Then again, Golden Earring still plays several concerts a week and they're older than me I think!

Trying to recall...it was probably earlier than the 70's...maybe 1966-67. I think the hippie movement left Georgetown by the 70's, seems like when I got out of the army it was overrun by drug dealers...that was 71. Anyway, in the day, M street was a happening place...I remember the Rascals had just come out with "Come on Up"...
