Aren't you forgetting 2-10 will get them bowl eligible?

Well, it is Notre Dame, so if they had beat Navy they probably would have shot up to around #15 or so. So many years of ass-kissing by the media.

I still remember when THE Ohio State was kicking them all over the field in the Fiesta Bowl, and all you heard was how Charlie Weise is an offensive genius. What a load of sheet...

While we are at it, let's all give a giant laughout to the Charlie Weis of college basketball, Billy Gillispie. Wonderful work Billy, you just lost by 16 to a team that was 9-21 in the Atlantic Sun conference last year. In time you may have people suggesting the firing of Tubby Smith was unwarranted, unfair, and possibly racially motivated just like Ty Willingham.

First) I think the so-called Fighting Irish are so stuck up that they won't go to a bowl unless its the big 5. Yes I'm including the Cotton Bowl. Not for sure on that one.

Second) What I am for sure about. Tubby resigned. He was already talking with Minnesota in February. Isn't that called collusion while coaching his team at Kentucky?

To the first part the Irish would accept a bid to any bowl game, not just the big five. They will not have enough wins this year to be bowl eligible so it won't matter.

To the second part Tubby was run out of town. He may have officially resigned but no decision had been made as to whether or not they were going to bring him back or fire him.
