I don't agree with the reason why they should have an asterisk. My reasoning for the asterisk has to do with two of the upper tier wide recievers in the league signing with the Patriots for pennies on the dollar. The NFL has been outstanding, in most part, due to the salary cap. And these assholes are taking the fairness out of the game.

Moss, Stallworth, and the Patriots organization should be ashamed of themselves. And Tom Brady needs to cut back on the photo shoots. FFS.

They may still be receiving benefits as they have been filming for years and I highly doubt they've turned over every bit of information taken from the illegal filmings to the NFL. However, teams know they have this info and if they haven't changed their signals then they deserve whatever they get. So no asterisk necessary.
