How is it nobody did the research on why Lady Joanne is pronounced "Joanie"? All 3 of those monkeys, and I love Kenny, were all like 'screw it, it's spelled Joanne' but it's named for somebody (I think the owner's wife) who spells and strangely pronounces her name in that way.

Hank asking Kenny if his brain's gone soft is like Michael Vick asking Nancy Reagan "are you high?" They kill me.

Not at all, Dylan Thomas has been rated the best in the world right now. Of course the rest of the world seems to eat up the turf horses so take it with a grain of salt. He did win the Arc though so nothing to sneeze at. Hasn't put a hoof wrong. (Til perhaps today, he isn't as good on soft going)

Wasn't that BTN that was dragging his hooves just getting onto the turf to go into the gate? Wow talk about a horse going 'I don't wanna! You can't make me!" I like that horse as a general rule, he and Shake the Bank are always fun to see.

ETA: Ah they both sucked, oh well.

I was talking about McCririck, he was just out of control.

Christina is sure a looker, I have never seen her in person so sometimes TV does wonders but I am guessing she is pretty fine in person also.

How hilarious, from Wikipedia...

Quote:
He refers to his wife Jenny as 'The Booby', and has been accused of frequent misogyny. He is also an outspoken admirer of George W. Bush and supports Newcastle United F.C.. [1]

In autumn 2006, McCririck and Jenny took part in Wife Swap alongside Edwina Currie and her husband (also called John). Currie strongly objected to McCririck's habits, which included eating his meals in bed and refusing ever to cook or drive the car. McCririck meanwhile, objected strongly to Currie's removing the fuse from his television set, and at one point ordered her to "get out of my house!" but she did not comply. In a follow up to his appearance in Wife Swap, he appeared on ITV's Loose Women, where he was booed off the stage as a result of his strong chauvinistic views. McCririck also appeared on The Sharon Osbourne Show where Osbourne ended up throwing water over him, because of his behaviour and views on women

I was next to mutton chops for a few races at the Derby this year. He is a funny dude and it seems pretty genuine. The coat ( pelt?) needs a good cleaning though. It looks like he skinned a calf about a decade ago[

yeah, mccririck is fun, but a very very strange fella, he brings a bit of eccentricity every saturday over here.

and any woman who can talk as much about racing as christina is a champ in my eyes...
