Hey, I just realized that I was supposed to have all my picks in yesterday. I just put them in and then read what Steve wrote.

I will just play for fun so you don't have to calculate my totals since I was LATE! Too busy lately. Jeez.

Well, off to a horse show.

And tell me how are you guys calculating the contest? Do we get points for any place that our 4 picks come in?

Like say my #3 choice wins, do I get 12 points? I am going to calculate my total just to see how I do.

Thanks. I am off soon to a Halloween Horse show! Going to have to record the races.

Everyone have a great day!!

Steve answered that question for me Buffy so I will help you, and yes you get 1st place points no matter how you have the winning horse listed.

Help me out on this one. I'm still coming up with 35. You had:

R8 Missy Macy Sue (5) + Baroness Thatcher (2)= 7
R9 Achill Island (7) + Strike the Deal (2) = 9
R10 Corinthian (12) + Gotcha Gold (7) = 19

Total = 35

Were you thinking maybe that Strike the Deal came in 3rd?

I don't know if your going to do the totals for today Cal, but if you do are you going to do the day 2 totals seperate so we can distinguish between the day 1 and 2 scores?

I don't mind doing them, but it will take me awhile. If anyone can do them faster, then I'll gladly step aside.

Here's an idea. I imagine that everybody has already done their own totals. So instead of me sitting here for 4 or 5 hours or longer adding all this up, everyone take the totals for today that they came up with and add(edit) your contest post with those totals. I will then rank them and add them to yesterday's totals and check the top scores to make sure no one is inflating their score.

Here's an example for anyone that is confused. I scored 131 today. So I will edit my contest post and put 131 on it down at the bottom of the page. Probably wouldn't hurt to put it in red.

Is this ok?
