The one I liked was Native Ruler in 8th.
Even if the return to Poly is unsucessful, appears to be useful on Turf. Previous Poly tries were against pretty classy bunches and right before / after layoff, so those may not be a true indicator. 1M seemed a bit much off the bench., maybe just needed one. Class drop seems unsuspicious. Anyone know Smithwick's win% in claimers? Mama was an earner across the pond. If he takes to addition of blinks or Poly, that's just a plus. That's my novice selection, based on the paper... On the wagering side, I will try a few win dollars on Why be Quiet in the 2nd at a price. Last edited by pmacdaddy : 10-26-2007 at 01:07 PM. |

Chuck eyeballed the colt(s) and passed... He HAS dropped on a filly here in the 4th which he liked going in and believes he can quickly improve... We are likely to get her as there appears to be no other claims... Will give name/number closer to post time...
