And where are all the geniuses who said Curt Schilling was all done? 12-3, having a career type year, ya he looks all done to me! LOL!

Be interesting to see which of these two nervous fumblers ends up with the most errors(AROD,or FURCAL.)Furcal was way ahead, but AROD is coming fast and hard now.

What a disappointment Furcal turned out to be. 4 years ago I thought this guy was going to be the next great superstar of the game. Thought he had the potential to set the all time run record and his arm (still is) one of the best I have ever seen at any position. Lets hope he turns things around. As far as A Rod goes, who the F cares. Hes a first class pompass ass.

I dont know Mike, Curt Schilling does what he has to, to win games. I think winning is far more important than ERA. Sure he doesnt have the velocity or the ERA he had 3-4 years ago, but he is a winner. Like Jeter, players rally around the guy and give him support when needed. I'd rather have him on my team than a guy like Pedro, who is mentally weak but physically more talented than anyone in the game, maybe even Clemens.
Schilling reminds me so much of Jeter in that respect. When he wins games, nobody should give a damn about his ERA. |

A month or 2 ago,Grady (commenting on Furcal's fielding)said that he was possibly "thinking too much." After hearing this,Furcal said "I don't think about nothing." Actually,I have seen him interviewed, and he can speak English o.k. I just think he is one of those highly defensive Latins that you are better off just not correcting at all. That covers a lot of them(actually.)Scioscia has about the best luck with dealing with them.Even he had trouble with NUTJOB GUILLEN. |

Yeah he should be playing short, sure, in a mens slow pitch softball league maybe. Like i said, that's me baby, I make mad dazzling stops at short, crank back the cannon and throw the ball in the stands! I'm the AROD of mens slow pitch!

Well,as far as AROD'S offense goes,I think he had his swing down perfectly when they beat the Mets at Yankee Stadium(about 3 weeks ago.)They showed him hitting a home run in very slow motion, and it was technically perfect. They need to make him watch that tape as if it was J-LO in a porn flick.
