Maybe he was scratched. I read on another forum that he was in the entries for the race.

Do you know if he is trained over there now?

As a novice chaser he looked a real nice horse. He should have won the Feltham at Kempton as a novice but he was caught out by a horse who fell in front of him and unseated Brian Harding. He never really found much form after then for one reason or another, but he was only just short of top class as a novice chaser for Ferdy Murphy.

there was a horse Chivite who raced in Britain that was in the race.. Rated about 130 over hurdles.. couldnt tell you much on Gassman..

McDynamo is a phenomenal story. I'd put him up against Hirapour, Sur la Tete, even Lonesome Glory among American steeplechasers of recent years.
