Beckett is available to pitch in relief today. Odds are we will see him in the game at some point.

Not sure what the 3rd base coach was thinking...

I guess being very conservative with only 1 out, but you have to go for the tie there even if you think it is going to be a close play...

Yeah it would have been 11 to 3. What difference would it have made in the end? Cleveland's pitching would have been inspired to stop throwing meatballs?

You're right...It said Cleveland on their jerseys. No decisions make any difference whatsoever. Wedge decides to leave Sabathia in a 2-1 game in the 7th in game 5 and he gives up 2. He decides to take Westbrook out in a 3-2 game in the 7th tonight and Betancourt gives up 2. No decision matters whatsoever in Cleveland. They will lose no matter what. The easy double play ball hit by Manny in the first that flew into center field on a horrid hop didn't matter. Lofton being safe in the 5th didn't matter. Joel Skinner having severe brain cramps in the top of the 7th didn't matter. You simply can't change the fact the team plays in Cleveland...that trumps anything else. They could have had a 33-0 lead with two outs and noone on in the bottom of the 9th. It wouldn't matter. They would find a way to do a Cleveland thing. THat is what it means to be a Cleveland fan. You lose 9 of your last 10 series clinching games...it ain't a fluke, it ain't bad luck. It's reality. That's the way things just are supposed to be.

Al Champs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be dragging ass today, but it's worth it. Great game. I have a great deal of respect for Cleveland. Those guys can play. The Sox didn't quit now it's off to the World Series.
4 wins to go!!

No, the whole dynamic of the game would have changed. Never losing the lead, I feel, kept the Sox loose, and kept the momentum in their favor.

One play can change a game.

I am not saying the Tribe would have won, but the game would have been different, and played differently.
