They did say they were going to release more information tomorrow morning -the girl answering the telephone didn't know the exact time.

Hope that doesn't bode poorly for Teuf. Doesn't sound good. But perhaps the owners just don't care to involve the news media in this. Their choice, they are certainly entitled to their privacy.
Thanks for trying Riot. From what I remember of the statement was that both sesamoids in the front left were fractured not that both front legs were injured.
No matter the controversy of the connections I like Teufelsberg, he is a hard working colt that always tried. I saw him in person all 3 times he raced at The Fairgrounds and was looking forward to seeing him this year.

Oh and the 2 scratches prior to yesterday were owner requests due to disputes among the owners. He was actually saddled and in the paddock and was scratched minutes before the race in his last entry.

I think your right it doesn't sound good, but will hope for the best.

I like Teuf, too. Maybe the professional journalist among us, Steve, will get or hear more information today.

They did an update on ESPN earlier.

The injury is just to the left leg, not both. Per Dr. Bramlage, he's resting comfortably. They've got him on fluids and blood thinners. Apparently there were some issues last night with blood flow to the leg, but it was looking better today. Still planning on surgery sometime early this week.

Good news, I was afraid he might already have been euthanized! THANKS for posting that!
