First issue, the idiots that handicap the race at the betting machine. Are you kidding? Second issue, the people that look at the screen like it will choose the horses for you. Then, select a few horses, s l o w l y, only to clear the bet and start over. If you were lucky enough to reach the betting machine before post time, odds were the reader for your account card wasn't operating correctly and you had to go and find another machine.

So yes, you will see me betting on my phone account at the track, and it won't be because I don't have any more cash, as the caller suggested would be the only reason why someone would do this.

While I'm bitching about the so called operation over there at Belmont, who made the decision to turn the grill in the backyard of the grandstand into a hotdog stand? They used to sell burgers, sausage and peppers, chicken and fries, which could all be enjoyed in their "picnic area" and now all you can get is a greasy hot dog. What is wrong with these people?
I do it all the time. At Saratoga there's wireless so I bring my laptop, set up shop at the C-BBQ, and bet from there. I love the 10 cent supers but it'll only be worse at the machines with them...

Not that i am disputing anything said but it is hard to believe that Belmont with all of 4000 people has problems with betting lines

I have used my ADW account when the track I was at didn't offer the bet I wanted to place. I tried to bet a $0.50 pick 4 at Keeneland while I was at Tampa Bay Downs and Tampa did not offer it. I immediately went to the phone to put the wagers in and used that method the rest of the meet.

I will also be prepared to use it again if Monmouth doesn't have enough tellers/machines to handle the BC crowd in a couple weeks.
