I hope we can finally put to bed this notion of Discreet Cat being in the same league as the Ghostzappers of the world in terms of most talented horses to see the track in the last ten years or so.

He has never beat anything other than silver train. He really isn't in a league with ghostzapper.

I was majorly disappointed with DCat today, but am inclined to give him another chance. He has been so impressive off layoffs before but not at this level so they might have gone in too deep too fast.If he does improve leaps and bounds and gets a win in the Dirt Mile and maybe a repeat in the Cigar Mile, it would still be seen as a letdown for a horse of his potential..

DrugS, someone handed me this note for you....

My Dear Druggie-Poo:

Do you now know who the real beast is?

Discreet Cat is such a pretty boy he should be hanging out with Hossy and his pink sportcoat and nailing the HO's.

Warmest Regards,

Mr. F. Strike

p.s. It has been great hangin with you this summer

Mr. F. Strike only liked me so much because I fed him candy one time when their was a sign taped right on his stall saying "no candy"

In a match-up between two of my personal favorites: Discreet Cat and Fabulous Strike - I bet my money on Mach Ride.
