Nailed that one. This is why I'm the pro and you all suck.

We all suck. Playing the horses is about trying to suck at least a little less than the next guy.

All the people that bet Discreet Cat down to 4/5 off a 6 month layoff and a last place finish in a 10F race truly do suck.

Fabulous Strike has been my pick to win the BC Sprint for all of 2007 and I stand by my conviction after today. The track played EXTREMELY fair today IMO, and he dueled through some sick fractions. Throw out that Calder race, after FS and Smokey Stover's comeback races I think we can see that was a phony result.

Also, Talent Search is turning into a pretty nice horse if nobody's noticing. He's run second now to probably the East's two best sprinters.

I hope we can finally put to bed this notion of Discreet Cat being in the same league as the Ghostzappers of the world in terms of most talented horses to see the track in the last ten years or so.

He has never beat anything other than silver train. He really isn't in a league with ghostzapper.

FS has a funky scooting stride.
Of course I thought Michael Johnson's stride was weird.
Whatever works.

Sprints are crazy.
Discreet Cat had his speed duel to set up and pounce
but he had nothing. 6 months off and you throw him right
in against that kind of speed. I guess they know their horse.
Its not like he ran awful but heck thats really tough.

Didn't Discreet Cat beat Invasor ? I believe that's what they said on ESPN.

In Dubai, when Invasor was clearly off his game. I was pretty disappointed in Discreet Cat today, and I've been a fan since I saw him break his maiden on Travers Day '05. I also was in favor of throwing out his DWC, and maybe another injury came up today (distinct possibility), but he just seems to be a mess as a four-year-old.

Well said! I lost a ton last weekend made it back this weekend, after beating myself up all week. All in the name of fun!
