I've been alive for 12 Yankee Championships...more than the Red Sox in their whole history and BTW MORE than all the AL pennants you have won combined in all their years of playing!

If my Yanks don't win...I root for the Bosox....kind of keep it in the family...and hope they kick whoever wins the NL's butt...especially the NY MUTS.

If my St John's teams don't advance in the NCAA's, I sure as hell root for my Big East brethren to win. I have to admit, it is ESPECIALLY hard to root for UCONN like the Red Sox but if the are good enough to beat my teams, I don't root for them to lose.

I mean I'm not ever going to wear that PUKE Red and Blue hats and tshirts...I admire guys like Big Pappi, Schilling, and others...they're just as tough and talented and my team! Well , almost!

What's different this year(about the YANKS) that makes ya think they are gunna do it? You got that Chambermaid guy,but Rivera is beatable late.Clemons is crafty, but not dominant.I guess they could get hot,and do it.Why would you expect it though.Good hitting/mediocre pitching seems a design that's better suited for the regular season.Could ALMOST say the same about the Phils, but the guy last night doesn't seem mediocre.
