It really stinks that the untelivised races will probably have much better and fuller fields than the Sunday line-up. Both the Beldame & JCGC are looking short too, no?

At least the Beldame is a good betting race with Ginger Punch the likely favorite. She's pretty hopeless in there.

All the dodging of big races, with an eye on the evil BC, has ruined high end racing. But that's old news.

That made me laugh. It's only ridiculous if I form a definitive opinion before the draw but it's ok if the Master does it.

You acted as though you handicapped the race and couldn't make a case for a mid-priced horse. I am suggesting that I am looking forward to betting against an odds-on favorite who has dressed up form. Two very different scenerios.

Has it ever. I remember when the summer was for older horses to run in handicaps to see who could carry weight and even run on turf and the fall series brought the 3 yos together with the olders to see who was best at any age. When I think about what's happened to the fall Belmont meet it truly saddens me.

Personally, I think one of the worst things anyone can do is form a strong opinion without reviewing the pps after the draw. I understand we all have our own personal biases, but deciding against a horse, without objectively seeing the race on paper, is a certain road to losing.

I understand the criticisms of Fabulous Strike, and don't even necessarily disagree, but to me, it is impossible to have an informed and definitive opinion over a day before the race is even drawn. At least as far as potential contenders are concerned.

Your constant use of the term " master " is as lame as if I constantly called you stupid. It's beneath you...and you know it.

Once again, while I understand the similarities, I think they are two different situations. I am looking to beat a strong favorite who I think is overrated based on names of races and not actual performances.
