Belichick should be forced to go on ESPN and say, "I'm not a crook"...

That was the first person that came to mind.
Tricky Dick Nixon.

The Patriots dont need to tape anyone.
Stupid move by a possible paranoid type.

I have read that Mangini is the one who tipped security off that this was happening. Obviously Mangini knows Belichek's "tricks". Bizarre that he would still go ahead and do it. But Belichek has proven to be a BIZARRE guy!

dear forfeitheads:

you lost 38-14.

nice job cheering your starting qb's injury.

just when i thought i had seen the worst possible behavior from new york fans i stumble across this thread.

don't forget ne got called for a few penalties during the game. penalties are called for a reason. screw the 5 yards. i think you should get a forfeit for those.

man up. you need to get out of the pink panties and summer dress. when you get blown out by a much better team don't start retarded threads asking to have an undeserved win handed to you.

it just makes you look bad.

incredibly tacky and tasteless. but doesn't mean that the cheating should be ignored either.
there should be a penalty, but i think forfeiture is far too harsh. that's up there with secretariats dq in the champagne!

Rogers Clemens plays for the Jets too? Does he get a million a game there? Hard to believe he is the future, he is like 50 years old. Or is it Clemens kid?

i wasn't there. i was watching the game on tv. what i saw was pennington doing everything he could to get off the field on a bad wheel and hearing the crowd cheer.

i think everyone who wasn't there interpreted the cheering while a guy crawled/hopped/rolled to the sideline as cheering the injury.

"What do you think the penalty should be?"

lose 1 draft choice on day 1 of the draft. i don't have enough info to judge which round is appropriate but that penalty is fairly severe even if it's round 6. and i trust that goodell has the overall interest of the league in mind and won't play favorites.

Goodell is giving guys 4 games for jaywalking. What is he going to dish out to the Pats for doing something that screws with the integrity of the game? Everyone knows that they didn't need to do it, but the fact that they were doing it has to make you think.

I can't stand Belichick either...but Clemens the future??? Why is it that Jet fans never give credit to Pennington... he's a decent, smart guy and a very good quarterback. But, back to the subject at hand; Belichick is not a good guy and he'll sell his mother to win!

easy to blame the QB, only one pennington, but lots of coaches on the staff...

The Jets dont really deserve to benefit from a stupid Patriot Act though.

Hows about the Jets still keep their loss, and the Patriots are also given a loss. I like that. Yes... I think I do.

First off, idiot, I am NOT a Jets fan. I don't even like the city of New York. But what's wrong is wrong and if you can't see that a forfeit is the only logical answer, then you are a dope.

This one is a no brainer Hoss......You need to do something that punishes Kraft as much as the other Mr B.

THE PATRIOTS PLAY TWO GAMES AT NEW YORK JETS NEXT YEAR!!!!!

The punishment is both financial and psychological by giving a playing advantage to the team wronged while avoiding the dreaded punishing by draft picks which just means the Patriots use that money on free agents. Mr B would never really serve a suspension as he would still manage the team secretly. If you force the Pats to lose millions in concessions and parking revenue plus try and concentrate before the hostile crowd from hell X 2 you have a quid pro quo where the offense occured. A home game is huge!!!

I think the Patriots offense should have to give the Jets their plays beforehand in the next two games. Picture Brady at the line..."I'm going to throw it to that guy..."

Patriots still win by 14...

That would work for me, as Brady is 6-0 against the Jets in the Meadowlands

I wish I could say that the reason the Patriots beat the Rams was because they cheated (although there were something that they didn't show on camera - the receivers were blantantly being held) but it was Get sMartz.
and the completely fabricated tuck rule
