it's not about you anyway, is it? it's about the worst season opener in notre dame HISTORY. it's about negative rushing yards on the day. yikes! it's about that 33-3 final score. it's about michigan being the only reason why notre dame isn't getting quite the dissing it deserves.

He's taking the rise and fall of the nd empire and quinn ball-a study of nd quarterbacks and why they fail in the nfl. After joe pa and the boys but kick yu can you all do us a favor and be quiet. Ok try. Weiss was smart to have his agent get that big extension from the domers. At least when he leaves he can say thanks for the money! After the michigan game, when they beat yu! You can't even say you could beat a division 2 team. Next year would you please schedule appalaichan state and let them beat your ass in south bend!

No more talking about the ND vs. Penn St. game for me til after the game. I have my big brother coming to visit me this weekend and we should have a real good time tailgating before the MSU game, then going out for some drinks and the IRISH game at 6:00. If anyone is up for some kind of friendly bet on the game to make it interesting I'm down.

GO IRISH!!!!!!

If Quinn ball was that great, then why isn't he starting at QB for the Browns? Like thier other 2 QB's are some well know names. It would give me something awesome to watch on NFL network later in the week. Quinn against the Stell Curtain. Just imagine him saying "Mommy Mommy what did I get myself into" that would of been some great popcorn eating and Bacardi drinking time.

AHHHHHHHHHH, this I can answer for you. If you look at the early part of the Browns schedule, I don't think it would be wise to throw any rookie QB into that situation. Brady Quinn will be the starter by the half way point of the season, the coaches are already well aware that he is way better than Charlie Frye, they just don't want to rush him in. From what I hear, he is getting to know the playbook and the offense very well, and we might see him sooner than you think.

On a side note, NDs lack of offense on Saturday shows how good Quinn really is. Last year, Quinn was putting up points with a very similiar offense talent wise. I know that the ND team lost 2 WR, a RB, and some of the line, but none of those guys were drafted that high, and their replacements on this years team are at the same talent level. They replaced Darius Walker with Travis Thomas, James Aldridge, and the speedy Armondo Allan. At WR, they still have David Grimes and their TE Carleson. ND could get nothing done offensively on Saturday, but with almost that same offense last year, Quinn kept on plugging away and putting points on the board. All I'm saying is that the guy is good.

Jeff Sazmargkinaminski single handedly saved your butts last year almost every week. All Quinn had to do was get the ball somewhere near him and he'd catch it.

Excuses, excuses geez. Maybe Quinn dropped to the 22nd pick because he isn't as great as he thinks he is. If he is this great of a QB then he should be able to produce against ANY TEAM without the excuse of him not playing because he is a rookie.

PS How was Basket Weaving 101 and PE today.

Um who's expecting quinn to be an all-pro in year one. VERY VERY VERY few rookie qb's do anything in their first year. Peyton manning was 3-13.... Brady quinn may be ok in the nfl, but its going to take more then one year on a crappy team to determine that.

Brady Quinn will be a Hall of Famer for the simple reason that the Dolphins liked a 60 year old guy with 23 concussions and a dude named Cleo more.

A shorter answer would had been. You just don't make any sense at all.

To all except Irish..

Stand up and walk towards the wall. When you are 6" away, smash head as hard as possible into wall.

It is much less painful that posting about ND football

NEBRADY,

The Penn State qb's havn't been chartering a plane to NFL stardom. In fact please name me one successfull PSU QB in the last 30 years. And no 1st round bust Todd Blackledge does not count. ND pro QB's are hall-of-famers by comparison

Like I said, before passing judgment lets see what Clausen does in his first start this Saturday, and lets see what Brady Quinn does in his first NFL start in the NFL.
