Watch for patch of blue in 10th. He ran by about the whole field in the stretch of his debut. He showed a great deal of acceleration. Frankel horse who he flew by came back to run a solid 2nd in nightcap Mon. He gets a little more distance this time. I think he will be very tough right back.

Patch got a low fig as it was a slow race, but if you go back and watch it you will se how impressive his kick was. Huge strides extending down the lane....and that was first time out. Papanonie's kick last time out was very strong as well....watch that race.

This card it more difficult than the last two.....this is going to be a monster payout.

not sure who he came into ride...I am not crazy about his horse in the feature. Maybe he just wanted to visit SoCal

Just got through the sequence and my ticket is a bit more than I would like to spend...

The 7th race is brutal.

I'd love to toss the favorite in the 1st leg (switzerland).
Being that he's beaten up on weak, small fields in Northern California, jumping up two class levels, and getting the 11 post seems to be enough reason to do so.
Anyone know how the outside posts have been doing at DelMar in 1-mile races?

yep....I am looking at using those that can stalk off the folding speed....Ex Caelis 8-1 should be more relaxed second off...Vikkis Honor 10-1 had a prep and won this race last year, and Sindy is a great value at 10-1

I can't find a darn single in here.....I actually considered either singling Ex Caelis here or Drill Down in the feature.... where are you going?

Whoa, Scuds' horse is running tomorrow (Quick Little Miss). She should LOVE this track.

Right now I have Selvatica (can't ignore the TG nos.), Sindy and Ex Caelis (love horses that leave DWL), but I would like to include others...

My single is Placid Lake in the 8th.

Drill Down should be very tough, but.... too many unknowns as far as rapid improvement with lightly raced 2yr olds. I can't single because I can't trust the others in the race to NOT jump up and run a huge one.

Got some decisions to make. I need to cut a couple horses from the lineup.
