Hate to be negative (but here I go anyway ), but "I'm sorry" won't bring back the lives of those dogs he killed. He's a straight up prick... I'm not Jesus and therefore I won't forgive and forget that stuff.

This was a cool and calculated act by Vick and his accomplices. It was not an act of rage or a one time mistake.


Irregardless of any prison time he will receive the public has a short memory and Americans like to forgive. It is going to be the NFL's job to see that he never plays another down in their league. If the NFL shirks their responsibility then it is the owner's themselves that must step up and see that he is never offered another contract.

There is no margin for error in this type of ongoing cruelty. These actions by Vick and others should never be forgiven or excused.

Vick will be back in the NFL. There are lots of convicted felons and wife beaters in the NFL. As long as there is room for guys like A.J. Feeley and Joey Harrington in the league, there will be a place for Vick.

That would be what an intelligent human being would do...I don't see Vick swallowing his ego long enough to play that game (at least without choking on it)...somehow, I don't see PETA having any use for him, if they do, I'll cancel my membership!

You have many first time sexual assults and child molestors getting less than he may get. He doesnt deserve to be in there longer than a guy who sexually violates women and children.

I certainly agree Bid, but the answer isn't shortening Vick's sentence, rather we should lock up molesters and throw away the key! Shortening Vick's sentence would simply be adding another travesty to an ever-growing list...when I worked in the prison, i heard everyday how unfair it was that this guy or this woman was serving time while others got off...misses the point...sure, some skate but the unfairness has nothing to do with a person paying for his/her crime. Vick is an animal if indeed he pleads to the charges as presented...the fact that other animals sometimes get short sentences won't be fixed by shortening Vick's!

Ok I am going to speak about this in short form. If in fact Vick killed some of those dogs with his own hands the way the media is reporting and an NFL team signs him after his release shame on them. Second chances, even third are all fine and dandy for your run of the mill mistakes etc etc but.............

This is beyond the scope of what it means to be a human being. If he did in fact kill those dogs with his own hands OR knew of this going down, he deserves to spend A LOT MORE TIME in a HARSHER PRISON then what he no doubt will get.

I want to go into other areas about this case but in respect for this board and my not getting banned I will refrain. This case has been a real, real thorn in my side and wil continue to be until the ACTUAL FACTS come out.

Does not help when I see a woman last week wearing a Vick jersey at the Grocery Store I work.
