As I stated when the charges were originally filed, innocent until proven guilty or plea copped...now that he has done such, I think he MUST be banned for life, anything less will make a mockery of the NFL...and my PETA buddies will be at every game...as they should be! The latest revolting news, that he personally assisted in the murder of 8 dogs found too passive by hanging them first, then when three survived that horror, holding their heads under water until they drowned is not the actions of a man but a pile of dung...I will wait until the exact terms are announced as to exactly what he admits to but the writing is now on the wall...the bathroom wall!

i wonder tho if anyone would want him even if he's not banned for life--and i'll be completely surprised if he isn't banned permanently. he should be! just glad he's in the nfl, not in baseball. just look at how tough selig was on giambi.

Yeah, hopefully they will drop the hammer on him...if he isn't banned for life and some team picks him up in a couple years, they better be prepared for the reaction...the gambling issue should ultimately be enough to ban him for life though!

4pm espn radio was reporting vick agreed to 18-36 months in jail. jail time was the hold up in the plea and the feds wouldn't budge.
this piece of crap should never set foot on an nfl field again.

maybe they should try to get san diego to give back ladainian tomlinson whom the chargers took after trading down to the #5 pick so atlanta could guarentee they got vick.

they might also have a call on san diego's 2nd round pick that year, drew brees.

did i mention atlanta also gave another player and 2 more picks?

ouch.

it almost makes me want to forget that whole ryan leaf mess.

on a completely seperate note i have started my own handicapping service.

it's guarenteed.

i provide the picks.

if you aren't completely satisfied send me the unbet portion of my picks and i'll return the unspent portion of your money.

I think the strategy will now be to show great grief over what he did. Promise to work for PETA (or some other organization that will have him) when he gets out, educating people about what he did and how he has changed.

He has got to do a total repent option play, time can heal bad memories. I think you might see him back on the field in the future if he plays a role of complete remorse. Grovel for forgiveness and hope public memory fades.
