Considering that P3/P4's, exactas, tris and supers are the only place for horseplayers to beat takeout and make money, offering people 4 horses in races with 7 or more entrants is an imperative.

While some may find the only way to beat the takeout is through exotic wagering, remember nothing is one size fits all in this game.

This is certainly not a knock on Steve's approach. There are certainly benefits to playing exotics. It just isn't the only way, and the approach has some negatives as well.
