i mean, yeah, the forego looks better on the resume, but i think he had about a 90% chance of winning the o'brien and not much of a chance in the forego at all.

his last workout was a blistering 1:22 from the gate over the dmr poly.
the fastest 7f race of the dmr meet? 123.2 by salute the sarge!
For the reasons King stated below, Baffert said; "if the race were at 7 am I'd keep him here"

Chatain is also going to the Forego.

supposedly they were hoping to get discreet cat to the forego...now they're hoping to run him at some point during the belmont fall meet.

i suppose it would help if he had a workout or two first.

my inside secret source to the world of discreet cat has informed me they plan on never running him in america again.

they had an article that i read earlier that said they think he'll work a few times at toga, but won't race til belmont. surprised they're still trying with the horse.

what's the usual recovery period for a throat infection??

i doubt the throat infection is true. after all, everyone knows discreet cat is impervious to germs.

Lava Man - will he win ?

i have a rough estimate at 25% (has as good or better chance as anyone but is by no means a lock)
