Of course you could be right, but I don't think it is out of the question that one of her offspring could like more distance than today's race at 5.5f. She was a speedy 6f-type filly to be sure, but look at her pedigree.
She is by Copelan and out of a Dr. Fager mare. Those horses were both fast horses and good sprinters to be sure, but Copelan was able to stretch out a little (graded stakes winner at 8.5f) and Dr. Fager was of course able to stretch out a lot. If she is bred to a pretty good router (like Include) she might produce a horse that could stretch out a little.
And by the way, I'm not exactly saying this horse is going to be winning the Belmont Stakes next year, but that he might improve when stretched out to 7f-8.5f, which are the distances of most of the big 2yo stakes races.

Include has to be the most underrated sire out there right now, performance vs. fee. I'm REALLY impressed with his results so far in two crops.
