Calling out Taoracing!

All of us were upset... you have to realize that JJ held this horses leg while the xrays were taken at Pimlico... he saw them... he came out and shook his head... the media was trying to take video and pics... I yelled at them. which they didn't like as I am a member of the media... but ALWAYS ALWAYS a horseman first as with JJ.... It would make sense to put him down and announce it the following day... the people involved need to pull themselves together... JJ and me have cried with each other when we were in that situation.... JJ wrote a beautiful peice (the one and only time he has ever written anything) when we had to put down a 2 year old who had lots of natural talent but broke her back leaving the gate on her first start... it happened to be right before Smarty's try for the crown in the Belmont... JJ is very straight forward... he even discusses my life when he dies (I tell him to shut the ********** up!) he tells the truth .... that is one thing that he always does! He was not trying to upset but prepare... as we all are!

Will it be a sad day... absolutely... but it would have been an even sadder day for me if Kevin didn't live through his accident last year... we must keep it in prospective...
