football is better on tv. all the replays, angles, etc available on the tube are great. i try to go to one college game live a year--the lsu arkansas game. but it's all definitely better on the tube.
live--hockey!! no way you can get the same feel on the t.v. love the sport, and miss seeing it in the arena. horse racing is better live, as you can't see them up close, or bet, on t.v. (at least, i can't bet on t.v.). nascar is boring either way these days.....but, watching on t.v. spares you from seeing all the huuuuge women in bathing suit tops, and men with no shirt on (ugh).

college football saturday night in tiger stadium nothing better. geaux tigers!!!
baseball also live horse racing live. nfl on tv, golf not interested hockey none down here. basketball don't care
