Anyone that agrees with just about anything said in this letter fails to see the forest through the trees. Her comments about "drugs" are stupid. Her assertion that there are horses addicted to "morphine" is false. Her using Alydar's situation as something that is commonplace in our industry is idiotic. Her comparison of dog fighting and horseracing is ludicrious. Her opinion about the owners intention concerning Barbaro is misguided. Her tone and attitude is condesending which is ironic for anyone from Hoosick Falls to be condenscending about anything. Anyone can take the negatives about anything and twist facts to serve their own agenda. Agreeing with her about anything in the context that its presented in shows a lack of understanding about what is going on in the industry.

Improvements can still be made in this sport insofar as regulating drugs, outlawing dirt, and mandating a minimum number of days between races.
