I'd have to say there isn't much for the majority of those there. Faced with the option of sitting in dirt and dust all day in a park with 20,000 people that don't even go up to the track to watch a race, I can't say I understood the draw.

I'm sure things are great for those that can afford to sit in the fancy seats and be wined and dined to death but how many actually can afford to do that?

My grandstand seats on Sunday were fine as I was able to actually see the races - and that's what I go to the track for. I visited a friend who was sitting in the clubhouse Carousel dining area and he never got up to watch a race. I didn't stay with him long - not my cup of tea not being able to see the actual live races. To each his/her own, though....
