That's funny, my dad did those same two jobs as a young kid and a teenager to make money for his trips to River Downs...

My first job was cutting grass for neighbors. I had 20 yards that I cut once a week and I chagred $10 a yard. I was making $200 a week. I also had 6 house thay I charged a flat yearly fee of $500 to cut grass, rake leaves, shovel snow etc etc. I remember this like yesterday. I made $11,000 a year. My 1st job out of college was for $18k per year--lol.
