Default derby cat

I'm considering that as well as picking one day a week where I handicap three cards once a week with a mythical bankroll of 10,000.

Today it's Ellis Park Lone Star Park and Del Mar.

As a horseplayer, starting a sabbatical when Saratoga starts is like walking out of an open bar because you're just not thirsty.

Unassailable, take a few days and gather your wits.

Since sabbatical threads have gotten really popular around here, I just want to include that I'm not going on sabbatical, but instead am going to try to play as many races as possible over the next 36 days, starting Wednesday.

everyone goes thru bad streaks.... just keep plugging away and it'll turn around. I hit one of those streaks early this year that lasted about 4 months, but kept 'capping the right way... and it's turned back around to normal.

if you want to take a week or 2 off, do so, but don't change your way at all if it's proven to win in the past.
