LOL..I've actually been to Fort Plain..can't remember why.
You are right..he was the weather man. My Dad worked at GE in Schenectady and like clock work 5 minutes after he would say that phrase - My Dad would walk in the door. That was only 45+ years ago! Either you remember or you know how to Google..either way it works! Lived in F.P. for 25 years...not the town it used to be  Remember Howard well, he did one of his bowling show remotes out at our old alleys in town, was just before he retired...he's been gone for quite a few years.
